One address

Every question about LedgerCopy reaches the same inbox: mail at ledgercopy.com.

This is the only public address for LedgerCopy. There is no second inbox to route between and no ticket number to quote back. Replies come from the same address.

There is no published response time here, because a promise about speed is not something LedgerCopy can hold you to. What the reply contains is stated below instead.

What to send here

  • Coverage questionsWhether QuickBooks Online or Xero is supported for your organisation, and which object groups a run would cover.
  • Data-handling questionsWhat a run reads, where the independent copy is held, and how a connection is revoked.
  • Deletion requestsRemoving a copy and closing the connection for an organisation.
  • An existing trialA run report you are reading, an exception raised against an object group, or a change to scope or cadence.

Reply

What a reply covers

In place of a response-time guarantee, here is the substance. A first reply answers five things about your organisation.

Source platform
Whether the platform your organisation runs on, QuickBooks Online or Xero, is supported today.
Object groups
Which supported object groups are covered for your organisation. Coverage is source-dependent, so it is confirmed in writing rather than assumed from the platform name.
Run report
What a dated run would report for you: completion time, record counts per object group, and exceptions.
Outside the copy
Which objects a run would not copy, and which export routes have been tested for your platform. A completed run records what was copied; it is not evidence of a tested restore.
Subscription
What LedgerCopy would cost for your file. The subscription is per connected company file and is set once the source platform and the object scope are known.

Boundaries

What this address does not do

  • No phone supportLedgerCopy has no telephone number. Object groups, record counts, and exceptions are quoted exactly in writing, and a written answer can be checked against a run report later.
  • No in-person meetingsScoping a copy is a written exchange about platforms, object groups, and cadence.
  • No support by postThe business address is 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States, and it is there for legal correspondence. Coverage, run and deletion questions are answered from the inbox above, not by post.
  • No changes at the sourceLedgerCopy reads from a QuickBooks Online or Xero organisation and does not write to it. A correction to the ledger has to be made in the ledger.
  • No account changes from an unknown addressDeleting a copy or changing a connection is actioned only from an address on the account.

Deletion requests

A request to delete a copy has to come from an email address on the account for the connected organisation. The request is confirmed against that account before anything is removed, and confirmed again in writing once it is.

If you are not sure which address is on the account, write from any address and ask. We will tell you which address to send from rather than act on the first one that asks.

Revoking LedgerCopy's read-only access at QuickBooks Online or Xero stops future runs immediately. It does not remove copies already made, which is what a deletion request is for.

Questions this page does not answer

Three answers are written out in full on their own pages. Read them first if the question is yours.

  • Coverage and limits Which object groups a run covers, where the boundary falls, and who LedgerCopy is not for.
  • Data handling and run operations What a run reads, where the independent copy is held, and how access is revoked.
  • Pricing model How a subscription per connected company file is set, and what is not charged for.

Trial request

Request a trial and scope the copy.

A trial conversation establishes four things: the source platform you use, the ledger objects that matter to you, the cadence you need, and the review or continuity workflow the copy has to fit.

What to have ready

  • Which organisation or company file the copy would cover.
  • Who can authorise a read-only connection at the source platform.
  • Which object groups you check at close.
Source platform (optional)

The trial runs for 14 days. No credit card is required to start it.
